Product Warranties

Power Socket Warranty

  1. This warranty extends to Hardware within the DG product line only. Specifically, this extends to the following models:

    1. DG2 (Serial numbers DG2-100-0-###).

    2. DG2.1 (Serial numbers DG2-100-1-#####).

    3. DG2.2 (Serial numbers DG2-100-2-####).

    4. DG2.5 (Serial numbers DG2-100-3-#####).

    5. DG2.6 (Serial numbers DG2-100-3-#####).

    6. DG3 (DG#####).

Warranty period

  1. One year full warranty in respect of the Hardware other than normal wear and tear (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

  2. Following the Initial Warranty Period, a further nine year warranty in respect of the mechanical elements of the socket (being the terminals, socket-outlet and connection between, but not the internal electronics) other than normal wear and tear (the “Further Warranty Period”).

Exclusions and limitations

  1. No claim for breach of warranty during the Initial Warranty Period or the Further Warranty Period may be brought by the Customer unless the Customer can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Supplier, that the Hardware:

    1. has not been exposed to temperatures above 40 degrees centigrade or below -10 degrees centigrade;

    2. has not been exposed to relative humidity exceeding 95%;

    3. has never exceeded its rated current limit of 13amps;

    4. has never been exposed to a faulty downstream device;

    5. has never been disassembled;

    6. was never removed or relocated unless by a competent installer, and installed in a manner approved by the Supplier (including records of installation);

    7. was not mishandled or otherwise damaged by any person other than the Supplier including, but not limited to, water damage or physical damage (e.g. being dropped or unauthorised attempted repairs or modifications); and

    8. has completed the Suppliers Warranty Returns Process to the satisfaction of the Supplier.

  2. Under no circumstances shall the cost of installation of the Hardware be covered under any warranty offered by the Supplier.

How to obtain warranty service

  1. The Customer shall initiate the Warranty Returns Process by contacting the Supplier’s Customer Success Manager (“CSM”) or the Supplier’s support service (support@measurable.energy) detailing the symptoms the Customer believes to constitute a Fault.

  2. The Warranty Returns Process will be completed as follows:

    1. The Supplier shall instruct the Customer how to trouble shoot the Hardware.

      1. If the Hardware is uninstalled prior to initiating the Warranty Returns Process the Warranty Returns Process cannot be completed.

    2. Once the trouble shoot has identified a likely fault in the Hardware the Supplier shall ship replacement Hardware to the Customer.

    3. The Customer shall uninstall Hardware with the likely fault and ship the Hardware with the likely fault to the Supplier.

    4. The Supplier shall investigate the Hardware with the likely fault.

      1. If the Hardware is found not to meet the warranty requirements outlined in this m.e Power Socket Warranty the Customer shall be charged in line with the Supplier’s standard list prices.

Limitation of liability

  1. The Supplier shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Hardware or arising out of any breach of warranty.

 


 

Desk Extension Kit Warranty

  1. This warranty extends to Hardware within the BB product line only. Specifically, this extends to:

    1. BB4v1 (all DG variants).

    2. BB4v2 (all DG variants).

    3. BB2 (all DG variants).

    4. BB2A (all DG variants).

  2. This warranty does not include C13 Cables and m.e Desk Clamps. See m.e Mechanical Hardware Warranty.

Warranty period

  1. One year full warranty in respect of the Hardware other than normal wear and tear (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

  2. Following the Initial Warranty Period, a further nine year warranty in respect of the mechanical elements of the socket (being the terminals, socket-outlet and connection between, but not the internal electronics) other than normal wear and tear (the “Further Warranty Period”).

Exclusions and limitations

  1. No claim for breach of warranty during the Initial Warranty Period or the Further Warranty Period may be brought by the Customer unless the Customer can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Supplier, that the Hardware:

    1. has not been exposed to temperatures above 40 degrees centigrade or below -10 degrees centigrade;

    2. has not been exposed to relative humidity exceeding 95%;

    3. has never exceeded its rated current limit of 13amps;

    4. has never been exposed to a faulty downstream device;

    5. has never been PAT tested unless PAT tested with a certified PAT tester in sensitive mode;

    6. has never been disassembled;

    7. was never removed or relocated unless by a competent installer, and installed in a manner approved by the Supplier (including records of installation);

    8. was not mishandled or otherwise damaged by any person other than the Supplier including, but not limited to, water damage or physical damage (e.g. being dropped or unauthorised attempted repairs or modifications); and

    9. has completed the Suppliers Warranty Returns Process to the satisfaction of the Supplier.

  2. Under no circumstances shall the cost of installation of the Hardware be covered under any warranty offered by the Supplier.

How to obtain warranty service

Mechanical Hardware Warranty

  1. This warranty extends to the Hardware listed below only:

    1. All C13 power cables shipped by the Supplier.

    2. All m.e Desk Clamps shipped by the Supplier.

    3. All m.e Adapter Plates shipped by the Supplier.

    4. All GST power cables shipped by the Supplier. 

Warranty period

  1. Three month warranty on defects in material and workmanship only (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

Exclusions and Limitations

  1. No claim for breach of warranty during the Initial Warranty Period may be brought by the Customer unless the Customer can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Supplier, that the Hardware:

    1. Was not mishandled or otherwise damaged by any person other than the Supplier including, but not limited to, water damage or physical damage (e.g. being dropped or unauthorised attempted repairs or modifications);

    2. Was not damaged through normal wear and tear; and

    3. Was damaged when received by the Customer from the Supplier.

  2. Under no circumstances shall the cost of installation of the Hardware be covered under any warranty offered by the Supplier.

How to obtain warranty service

Fused Spur Warranty

  1. This warranty extends to Hardware within the FG product line only. Specifically, this extends to the following models:

    1. FG1

    2. FG1.1

    3. FG1.2

Warranty period

  1. One year full warranty in respect of the Hardware other than normal wear and tear (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

  2. Following the Initial Warranty Period, a further nine year warranty in respect of the mechanical elements of the socket (being the terminals, socket-outlet and connection between, but not the internal electronics) other than normal wear and tear (the “Further Warranty Period”).

Exclusions and limitations

  1. No claim for breach of warranty during the Initial Warranty Period or the Further Warranty Period may be brought by the Customer unless the Customer can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Supplier, that the Hardware:

Network Solution Warranty

  1. There is no Hardware Warranty for the Supplier’s Wi-Fi Network Service.

    1. This includes all network Hardware shipped by the Supplier.

  2. Customer’s may refer to their Service Agreement for the Wi-Fi Network Solution regarding Up Time Warranty.

 


 

Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring Warranty

  1. This warranty extends to Hardware within the CS and CT product lines only. Specifically, this extends to the following models:

    1. CS0-150.

    2. CS0-250.

    3. CS0-500.

    4. CT-150.

    5. CT-250.

    6. CT-500.

    7. CTD-500.

Warranty period

  1. One 30 day full warranty in respect of the Hardware other than normal wear and tear (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

Exclusions and limitations

  1. No claim for breach of warranty during the Initial Warranty Period may be brought by the Customer unless the Customer can demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Supplier, that the Hardware:

    1. has not been exposed to temperatures above 60 degrees centigrade or below -20 degrees centigrade;

    2. has not been exposed to relative humidity exceeding 95%;

    3. has never exceeded its rated current limit of 150amps, 250amps, or 500amps per phase.

    4. has never been disassembled;

    5. was never removed or relocated unless by a competent installer, and installed in a manner approved by the Supplier (including records of installation);

    6. was not mishandled or otherwise damaged by any person other than the Supplier including, but not limited to, water damage or physical damage (e.g. being dropped or unauthorised attempted repairs or modifications); and

    7. has completed the Suppliers Warranty Returns Process to the satisfaction of the Supplier.

  2. Under no circumstances shall the cost of installation of the Hardware be covered under any warranty offered by the Supplier.

  1. This warranty extends to Hardware within the TG product line only. Specifically, this extends to the following models:

    1. TGX (Serial numbers TGX#####).

    2. TGU (Serial numbers TGU#####).

Warranty period

  1. One year full warranty in respect of the Hardware other than normal wear and tear (the “Initial Warranty Period”).

  2. Following the Initial Warranty Period, a further nine year warranty in respect of the mechanical elements of the socket (being the terminals, socket-outlet and connection between, but not the internal electronics) other than normal wear and tear (the “Further Warranty Period”).
