Location Permissions

Access can be granted to occupants and users to be able to view (Read), control (Write) or switch on/off (Control only) Sub Groups, Groups and individual plug sockets, as required.

 

Add user permissions

  • Navigate to the hierarchy level you wish to give access to.
  • Click on the ‘Users’ button and select 'User Roles Manager. 
  • Select "Add User Role."
  • Input the email address and the permission you wish to grant. You'll need to repeat this process for every type of permission (read/write/control).

Types of permissions

The measurable.energy Control Centre uses a tiered permission hierarchy to control and manage access for different users. Users receive their permissions on all locations of the tree hierarchy under the level that the permission has been granted.

 

Permission

Access

View

Allows the user to view the following:

  • All locations within the structure

  • View and browse all energy and emission charts

  • Request and download reports

  • View the user permissions section

  • View the rulesets that are currently in place

  • View custom groups

Control

Grants the user all access from the View permission as well as:

  • The ability to turn sockets on/off in the Hub

Edit

Grants the user all access from the View and Control permissions as well as:

  • Add/edit/move/delete locations in the tree structure

  • Enable/disable socket LEDs

  • Add/delete users and permissions

  • Add/edit/delete rulesets

  • Edit custom groups

  • Update addresses

Admin

Grants the user all access from the View, Control and Edit permissions as well as:

  • View and update organisational Wi-Fi credentials

  • Update power socket Wi-Fi credentials

  • View power socket connection states

  • Add/delete Admin users and permissions

  • View and edit API keys

  • View and submit customer orders
