How has material circularity been considered when replacing original sockets with the solution?

We have one program in place and one in development for recycling and reusing non-smart sockets removed from buildings:

  • We are a publicly listed EEE producer (EEE Producer Public Register) and use registered WEEE disposal companies to deal with all WEEE from original sockets. This can either be done directly with our customer or more commonly through the electrical installer. Post-installation the original sockets are appropriately recycled. This is active and accessible to any of our customers free of charge.

  • We are also in development of a partnership where old sockets can be donated to a collective of charity construction projects in Africa. This will allow businesses to donate to good causes building hospitals and schools. This program is not live yet and is still being developed.
